The Windsor Spitfires today announced that they have acquired defenseman Patrick Moran (Highland) as well as seventh- and ninth-round picks from the Guelph Storm in the 2009 OHL Priority Selection for sixth-, seventh-, eighth- and ninth-round picks in 2009.“Patrick will bring a defensive presence with experience in the OHL to our lineup," Windsor general manager Warren Rychel said. "Hewill also add grit and toughness to our back end."
Moran will be in the Spitfires lineup for tomorrow’s game against the Ottawa 67’s.
