The London Knights announced today that the team has acquired 18-year-old center Chad Beal from the Plymouth Whalers in exchange for a conditional draft pick in the 2008 OHL Priority Selection.The 6-foot-3, 213-pound Beal was the Whalers' third-round choice in 2005. He was a member of the Pickering Panthers Junior A team last season after starting the year in Plymouth, but had not been with the Whalers at all this season.
