The Soo Indians swept the Toledo IceDiggers at home last weekend and are now in sole possession of first place in the NAHL's North Division.
In Friday night's 4-2 win, Tiger Marcotte, Glenn Ylitalo, Drew Satterley and Nik Sellers scored to pad Jason Kearney's 10-save outing.
Saturday, Troy Redmann stopped all 15 shots he saw to lead the Indians to a 3-0 shutout. Ray Kaunisto, Joey Bacon and Jim Pentecost scored the Soo's goals and each was assisted by Joe Beaudry.
This weekend, the Indians (26-13-3) are at Cleveland to face the Barons on Friday and Saturday and then visit Toledo on Sunday evening.
