Derek Stabile gave the Northern Michigan Black Bears a 1-0 lead in the third period, but the Soo Thunderbirds rattled off three unanswered goals to take a 3-1 win at Big Bear Arena Wednesday night.
Tony Stoehr made 24 stops for the Black Bears, who play Manitoulin at home Saturday night.
