The Saginaw Spirit wrapped up a four-point weekend with Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Western Conference-leading London Knights in Saginaw.The Spirit move to 29-26-1-0 with 59 points, a point behind idle Plymouth for second place in the OHL's West Division.
Zack Torquato (pictured) scored a pair and Michal Birner added the other for Saginaw. Goalie Francois Thuot had 28 saves in the effort.
Saginaw resumes action Thursday at 7:11 p.m. versus the Erie Otters at the Dow Event Center.
