The Bismarck Bobcats have signed Detroit Compuware defenseman Daniel DeKeyser to a tender for the upcoming 2008-09 season.DeKeyser, a big, lanky defender that plays every game with an edge, was a training camp invitee last fall with the Plymouth Whalers (pictured).
“DeKeyser has a tremendous upside and a real bright future in the North American Hockey League,” Bobcats head coach Byron Pool said.
A 6-foot-3, 170-pounder, DeKeyser had a goal and 13 assists in 25 games last year.
