Per the Western College Hockey blog, the Plymouth Whalers are getting a player who previously had committed to go the NCAA route.Defenseman Josh Bemis, Plymouth's 14th round pick in 2006, has reportedly spurned Western Michigan, where he would have started in 2009, to play for the Whalers this coming fall.
No confirmation from Plymouth as of yet.
