Though the United States Hockey League doesn't have a team in Michigan, there is no shortage of players from the state in the league. Today, the league held its annual Futures Draft, a five-round draft where 65 players born in 1993 were selected.
The entire draft had its share of Michigan connections, starting with seven of the 13 picks of the first round.
