Ryan Murtagh and Sean Farley each had a goal and an assist, but it wasn't enough as the Northern Michigan Black Bears suffered a 5-3 defeat at home to the Manitoulin Islanders Saturday night.
Justin Dickinson also scored for the Bears and Elliot Hogue made 24 stops.
Northern Michigan travels to play the Soo Thunderbirds Wednesday night.
