The Chicago Blackhawks are eager to sign Evan Brophey."We'll do it today if he wants," said Blackhawks general manager Dale Tallon yesterday from Chicago.
"It doesn't matter to me. A big centreman with skill? That's something that we can use."
Perhaps Tallon will bring a pen and a standard three-year NHL entry-level contract to London tonight.
Tallon plans to attend as Brophey's Plymouth Whalers try to finish off the Knights in the Ontario Hockey League's Western Conference final.
