The Saginaw Spirit announced Wednesday the team has traded the rights to forward Dylan Fitze to the Peterborough Petes in exchange for a conditional eighth round pick in the 2012 OHL Priority Selection.
Fitze was originally Saginaw’s third round selection, 60th overall, in 2008, appearing in six games in the 2009-10 season where he recorded three assists.
This past season, the Peterborough native suited up for the Peterborough Stars of the OJHL, collecting 17 goals and 14 assists in 47 games.
